Just feel an urge to post some thoughts about the website and it's hopes.

Here is how the website came about;
Back around late 1996 and early 1997 I found a notice posted in a local paper about a rally to express our joy[NOT] at being taxed by the state of CT by joining a caravan that encircled the capital in Hartford and make some noise. More of a 'feel good' activity I would say. I felt good. Others seemed to as well. After, we gathered at a small restaurant and confabbed on our tactic and future. About this time the Reform Party, who sponsored this event, was in it's infancy. Talk came on many items. I had been doing a website for the local horseshoe League I was[and still are] in. I sensed that my efforts might be a help by offering to do a website for the Reform Party here in Ct. Although nothing emerged at that time the seed had been planted and the 2 party officials along with a District Rep. met on another occasion to discuss and explore this. I had found other sites on the internet and thought Connecticut could fall in line. It seemed to me to be a method of communication that was free of the biased scrutiny of the media and press. If I could contribute using this medium then so be it. Competition, good, I thought. After the meeting we agreed to post a website. However, caution was lurking at all levels. The very logical question was, Can we trust him?. Prudence was exercised and the site eventually evolved slowly using discretionary judgement. It is now where it is thru the smooth and rough times the party has known. What lies ahead?....as they say, stay tuned....

Comments from myself about the site;
I have never enjoyed fighting that eminates from hate. Fighting for any reason can leave permanent scars but when done out of hate the results can be frightening. For that reason I have chosen to keep the content of the site civil and humane. Oh, there are battles. I confess, it isn't any tea party. But the approach is to present pivotal mainstream issues that have substantial impact in various areas. There are some that may not be that pivotal but fall into a category of needing reform or at least attention. So much for the site content....

This site cannot be the 'Lone Ranger' of politics, and citizen activism. But, if it qualifies as a reputable source for SOME information and can direct visitors to other reputable resources then I will feel some success. There are many other sites that form the big picture on issues and provide information way beyond this website.

Perhaps my fondest concept is that it would be a site that others link to as well. To be recognized by others is the highest tribute. Certainly in the realm of our youth and their education I would be flattered to find them showing up here and even linking.

I don't have all the answers to all questions. I hope the site doesn't appear to be a 'know it all' source. It probably does. Oh well, I'll keep that as low a profile as I can.

The website is now somewhat more settled. My webdesign is lacking although navigation was one thing I tried to make usable. I appreciate your patience and you can email me with any questions or comments at;

P.S. This not a 'one of kind' website. There are many other sites that could fit this overview. I encourage seeking those out and adding them to your bookmark list or wherever for reference on your concerns.

Thanks,
